Logging in is the very first step that gets you to your positions, candidates and data, so we give it the same attention as the rest of the system.
In ATS Recruitis, we've started updating the login adapter - the technology that powers the entire login process under the hood. The goal is to move the login process a big step forward: making it more secure, more resilient against attempts at abuse using modern and entirely new forms of attack, and more flexible for future development, whether that means new ways of verifying identity or easier access management across your organization.
The new technology brings two visible changes that you'll notice the very next time you log in.
First, the login page address is changing:
Second, the look of the login window is changing too. It has a new, more modern design.
From our point of view, this is the most important part, so please don't skip it. The new login window will look different and will be available at a different address than the one you're used to. If not all users in your organization know about this, the new window could at first glance seem suspicious to them, or in the worst case look like a fake (phishing) page trying to steal login credentials.
That's exactly why, from a cybersecurity perspective, it's essential that everyone who logs in to ATS Recruitis knows about the change in login address and the look of the login window.
We'll be sharing this news both via our email newsletter and via the news window directly in ATS Recruitis.
We're rolling out the change gradually to minimize the impact on your everyday operation.
First, individual parts of the system will start linking to the new adapter. The first of these are password reset emails, which already lead to the new login address.
In the next step, which we'll inform you about separately and in advance, all users will be logged out across the board and login will be enforced exclusively via the new login window at the new address. This will happen outside business hours to minimize disruption to your normal work routine.
