After creating a dynamic group of filter items, this group is empty. Specific values are added to the list in the settings only after their specific use within positions - see the image below.
Within the position editor and position settings, when selecting a given filter item, its values are dynamically loaded via API and you will always see the current list of values.
Other behavior of dynamic filter items is identical to static ones:
Visual behavior is also identical - you cannot distinguish a dynamic and static filter item after its setup during regular use with positions. The only difference is where the values for selection are loaded from - whether from a static list entered directly in ATS Recruitis or dynamically via API from a defined endpoint.
In the case of dynamic filter items, individual values cannot be renamed, but items can only be deleted. For a dynamic category, settings can be changed.
Note: Deleting the last item will also delete the entire category and thus its settings.
