Sourcing candidates from LinkedIn has one major catch: you've found a great person, but you have neither their GDPR consent nor a scheduled meeting. Getting there usually means a few emails or messages back and forth. A new feature in the Recruitis Plugin solves this in one step: when sourcing candidates from LinkedIn, you can now offer them a booking link right away, where they pick their own meeting time (online or offline).
This removes both of sourcing's biggest bottlenecks at once. First, GDPR: to complete the booking, the candidate must first accept GDPR consent, so it's no longer handled separately but naturally as part of picking a time. Second, speed: the candidate doesn't wait for your email with proposed times, and you don't wait for their reply - they immediately see the open slots and book the meeting themselves, often within seconds of receiving the link.
The feature doesn't reinvent anything from scratch - it uses the existing booking link logic already in ATS Recruitis, just newly connected directly to LinkedIn scraping and candidate import.
In the Recruitis Plugin settings (gear icon in the bottom right), turn on the "Offer a booking link after LinkedIn import" toggle.
Open the candidate's LinkedIn profile, run the scraping, and add the candidate to a specific position or just to the database (talent pool) as you normally would.
Once the candidate is added, the plugin shows a field for choosing a booking link template. Pick the one you want to use, and use the icon next to the field to generate and copy the link.
Send the copied link to the candidate via a LinkedIn DM, or by email or SMS if you have their contact details.
The candidate picks a meeting time on the booking page. To complete the booking, they must also accept GDPR consent - without it, the booking can't be completed.
The candidate appears on the position right after import, with a note that you're waiting for their interview time to be confirmed.
