Adjusted dialogs for copying and moving a candidate

The main change is that the dialogs open in a pop-up panel on the right side of the screen.

 

Copying the candidate

Copying a candidate to another position means creating a new candidate response for the position to which you copied them. In the panel, you have the option to manually select positions. Alternatively, if you want to copy the candidate to multiple positions, you can filter the positions using keywords. To deselect certain positions, simply click on the blue boxes with the corresponding position names to cancel the selection.

In the panel below, you have the option to choose whether you want to create a new candidate answer for another position with or without an email. Selecting "With Email" means that as part of the copying process, an email will be sent to the candidate notifying them that they have been included in a new position.

Moving the candidate

During the process of moving a candidate, you are removing the original answer and creating a new one on the new position. Therefore, there is only one position selection for the move. Filtering for a specific position in the search works the same way as in the case of copying. There is no option to notify the candidate when moving them because there is no new response generated. The functionality of moving a candidate is suitable in cases where a candidate applied to the wrong position or when a recruiter mistakenly saved a candidate under the wrong position during sourcing.

💡When you move a profile where there are already recorded notes, interviews, and various activities, and the candidate has already progressed in the recruitment flow, moving them will erase the entire candidate history. Moreover, we recommend copying the candidate instead, as it allows you to retain the candidate's entire history even if you reject them for a specific position but still want to consider them for another position.
