Integration with Romanian Portal eJobs.ro

The eJobs.ro portal is the number one on the Romanian market and they say about themselves: "eJobs is a Romanian job portal that manually verifies every job offer and company. eJobs offers job listings with visible salaries, jobs from all fields and industries, remote and abroad positions, as well as many articles and career advice. On eJobs.ro, you have direct access to the most relevant candidates. How? With the help of the intelligent CANDIDATE FITNESS algorithm, which automatically sorts your applicants and ranks them by relevance. Combined with the ACCESS CV service, it also opens our database of more than 5.2 million resumes and shows you who are the most suitable people for your company."

How does the integration work?

The integration is implemented via API connection - that is, from ATS Recruitis, positions are posted immediately directly to the eJobs.ro portal and candidate responses are written directly to the ATS immediately after the candidate fills them out.

What do I need to do for the integration?

For integration, you need to obtain a so-called API token for your account from the eJobs.ro portal and provide it to us. We will activate the token for you in our ATS and you can start using the integration with the portal.

Transferring positions from ATS Recruitis to eJobs.ro portal

Position transfer is done using the submission form in the right-panel when setting up publication channels (both when publishing a new position and when editing publication channels). The form is pre-filled with data that can be mapped directly from the position editor.

If all mandatory data for submission cannot be loaded from the job posting, a "!" icon will appear next to the publication channel and you have the option to add values and submit directly from the right-panel form. After submission directly from the form, the publication channel is automatically activated.

The code lists for data in the form are loaded directly from the eJobs.ro specification, so there is no risk of conversion errors from our code lists to theirs.

When filling out the form, pay attention to the "Ad type" field - this determines under which service you are sending the job posting to the eJobs portal. If you don't choose exactly the service you have paid for, the position transfer will return an error: "REQUEST_DATA_INVALID: Insufficient credits".

Transferring candidates from eJobs.ro to ATS Recruitis

Candidate transfer is done using the response form of the given position in ATS Recruitis, which is sent directly in the data when publishing the position to the eJobs.ro portal.

For use on the Romanian portal, you must create your own response form with labels in Romanian, including your own GDPR consents in Romanian (for illustration, here is an illustrative example of creating a form in Polish).

If you have Romanian set as the job posting language, the form is automatically created with enforced Romanian texts for controls, headings, etc.

Good to know:

  • The eJobs.ro portal does not currently have a reliable interface that would return the exact form of the job posting after it is sent, so it may happen that some data (typically salary, ad type) must be filled in again for editing and resending (update).
  • Field mapping:
    • Code lists like "Cities" (location), "Departments" (fields), etc., for data in the form are loaded directly from the eJobs.ro specification, so there is no risk of conversion errors from our code lists to theirs.
    • Position description is not displayed in the form; it is sent as written in the position editor.
    • "Company description" is taken from Settings | Company | About company.
    • "Ideal candidate" is pre-loaded as a static sentence so the field is filled.
    • "Required experience" automatically loads the position description in case you want to use something from it. Unfortunately, eJobs.ro has mandatory fields ("Ideal candidate", "Company Description", or "Required experience") that we usually write into one job posting text and cannot be automatically matched.
